This guide is about installing Svea Payments to your Shopify store. New Shopify Payment App was released in 2021 and it replaces the previous Svea Payment Gateway integrations.
All Shopify shops not yet using the new payment app need to update their settings in the Shopify admin panel. The old Svea Payment Gateway integrations deprecates in June, 2022.
You can also use this instruction when installing Shopify Payment App to a new store.
Prerequisites
You have created a store on the Shopify platform
You have Owner-level permissions to manage settings
You have your Seller id and Secret Key ready
Summary
In your Shopify store, install and activate a single Svea Payments Payment App or separate Payment Apps for each payment method
Activate customer contact method “email”
In Payments, activate Payment capture: automatic

You have two options on how to install and use the payment methods:
Option 1: Install a single Payment App and let buyers select payment method after redirection to Svea Payments service. Quicker to install as only one configuration is needed.
Option 2: Install separate Payment Apps for each payment method. Buyers can select the payment method on the Shopify checkout page.

Option 1: Install a single Payment App
Log in to your Shopify store
Follow this link and choose “Connect” to install a single Svea Payments Payment App to let buyers select payment method after redirection to Svea Payments service.
Select Install app
Select activate:
Note! Enable test mode only if you are using a test service.
Enter your credentials: Seller id and Secret Key. If needed, you can find these in Svea’s Extranet. If you don’t have an Extranet account, contact our customer service.
Note! Webhooks from the old integration are not needed anymore.
Confirm
Activate Svea Payment App
The The new installation is now readycompleted.

Disabling the old integration
If you have previously used Svea Payment -integration, the old integration must be disabled when the new integration is implemented.
Go to "Payments" in the store settings
Under “Supported Payment Methods” all the current payment methods are listed
Select the payment method you want to disable (for example Svea Payment Gateway v2) and press "Manage"
At the bottom of the page press “Deactivate <payment service name>"
NOTE! Only use “Deactivate”. Do not delete any webhooks or change any other settings.
NOTE! If you have had a payment page bypass, each payment method must be disabled separately.
